Christian Science congregation in Harrisburg began with an informal group in 1904 who had experienced healing thru the application of the teachings of Christian Science and became a recognized branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts in 1906. Our church services have been held continuously for over 100 years. We welcome all to our Sunday Service and Wednesday Testimony Meeting and infants and young people to age 20 to our Sunday School.
Mary Baker Eddy is the discoverer of Christian Science and founder of the Church of Christ, Scientist and is the author of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the Christian Science textbook which contains the full explanation of Christian Science and its biblical foundation of spiritual healing. Christian Science is a Christian denomination and worldwide movement of spiritual healers. Spiritual healing is based upon the divine laws of God and may be applied to heal every form of human suffering by anyone.
